there are many things that i have come to appreicate since coming to taiwan, such as the english language (ahhhh), the chinese language (actually i've come to think it sounds really beautiful), chou tofu (it doesn't taste as bad as it smells), bamboo in all forms (mmmmm), getting from place to place using my own two feet, international mail, TEEEEEEEEEEEA, and...jay chou.
i first discovered jay chou in the airport in taoyuan. AT THAT VERY MOMENT i fell in love. he is a really really (really!!!) famous taiwanese jack-of-all-genres-of-entertainment. he is famous in all asia, but especially in taiwan, because he is from here. i think he is especially worshipped by a select part of the american expatriate population--namely myself.
