oh my life...i love taiwan.
for those of you who don't know my latest obsession, its a taiwanese singer/actor/mega-talent named...FAN YI CHEN!!! ahhh i love him, and thanks to my skillful stalking, managed to get hold of some tickets to go to his show last night...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DREAM COME TRUE.
it was the best show i've ever been to IN MY LIFE. even though i could only understand about 30% of what was going on, who cares?! I WAS IN THE PRESENCE OF FAN YI CHEN and it was amazing. he sang all my favorite songs and showed clips from when he was filming his movie and even after the show, kristen and i GOT TO TAKE PHOTOS WITH SOME OF HIS BAND! ahhh best night ever. unbelievable. dream come true. i love taiwan, and i love love love fan yi chen. ahh.
while we were in the middle of the concert, there was a MASSIVE earthquake. it was quite scary actually. i feel tremors everyday, but this was a proper quake. someone told me it was a 6. something on the scale. i was in taipei, but i'm not sure where the epicenter was. scary (but kind of cool :)
i'm off to the south of taiwan on monday for a week of holiday and visiting friends and travelling, so merry merry christmas to everyone, i love you all and wish i could be with you...but for now, i will enjoy a warm christmas on my happy little island and think of you all in your cold, cold weather ;)
If you could just put some of that warmth in an envelope and send it my way, I would be oh so appreciative. (;
